I think it's very noble to stay spoiler-free until you physically go see the show.

I hope it is very surprising and very rewarding.

On one hand, I wish I would have done that...

But on the other hand, I'm so amazed by the miracle of modern technology, that only SIX or seven HOURS after the concert STARTED in Barcelona, I could download 2-3 different complete audio versions of the show, and watch (almost) the entire concert in HD on YouTube, sitting on my ass & staring at a screen on the other side of the planet... without paying a cent.

So I had an absolute field day experiencing as much of that as I could. Because just like you can't become a U2 360 virgin again, you also can't reproduce the excitement and anticipation Day 1 of the tour. That won't come again for 5 years, God-willing if it comes at all (knock on wood).

So we all had to make a choice.

I can't wait to hear first-hand from people who did it the other way!!! Please report your experiences!

me! I epically failed with the rehearsals but now am trying not to listen to any of the shows or look at any of the setlists.

I do feel dirty and like I don't count in this though. It is for stronger people than me, though I'm gonna try...just wish I didn't know the rehearsed songs

I would agree with you on the one hand, U2met, I really want to watch the songs Magnificent, Breathe, Moment of Surrender....because those are the obvious ones that will be played at the concert I will be soon attending. But for the Miss Sarajevos, Stay, Angel of Harlem, Wild Horses or other songs that I've been so desperately wanting to hear live for some time now, I want it to be a complete surprise. I don't want to go into a show knowing that there's a chance- I want to be completely and utterly shocked.

Who knows what the future holds. I might just give in. Its too hard not too

I've crashed and burned guys I'm afraid. Not actually my fault - I'm on various mailing lists from various publications and one had the setlist in. plus some descriptive stuff. It was too late by the time I realised as the topic title held no clue.

I'm not watching vids and still deciding whether to listen to the boot or not. But can't call myself in the dark anymore either.

In that case you wont know how it actually sounds, which makes stuff a surprise anyway
