  3. ahhh. Sheffield is interesting, kinda a cross between the normal set up, very odd shaped stadium, looks cool...



    the only other true "in the round" show (i think) is Norman, OK - which is similar in set up to Milan. which...I'm attending as well

    Regarding the wristbands and so, listen to me.

    The first 400 people who arrived to the queue (mostly the day/night before the show) got a number written on their arm and late at night, after the dress rehearsal, some of the fans (we became kinda staff crew) were giving wristbands to that people, with the same number present on their arms.
    Then, an hour before all gates were opened, we the people with wristbands were allowed to enter to some kind of pre-gates area, where obviously we had an advantage to the people on the rest of the queue. Then the gates opened and the wristbands-people entered the stadium 5 or 10 minutes before of the rest of the queue. That's why we all had great spots. But to enter the inner circle, you only need to be one of the first 2500 people to enter to the stadium



    LOL Sergio, now my queuing experience had you confused for a little while


    I arrived at 10am and asked the "control" guys in their yellow jackets if that loooooooooooong queue there was the right one for Acc.5 (which was printed on my ticket), and several of them said "yes, this is your queue". So I spent some hours in that incredible heat there, until some friends from the US came over and told me there was another queue on the other side, which was only for Acc.5 ticket holders, and that they were giving out numbers - so of course I changed queues then
    It was a much much shorter queue and yes, I got my 92 on the arm -- but in the end, you know how things worked, we poor folks had to watch you guys run into the stadium while we still had to wait outside the gate -- it was incredibly painful LOL but truly fair, I said that to Remy right away. So... everything went fair. Only blaming the controlers there for giving out wrong information about which gates were for which ticket holders
    very very glad though that you got that close to the stage!!! I made it into the inner circle as well, row 1, on Adam's side in the end, all was well (except that I haven't seen you in person )

    I'm thinking, I planned It right because I have GA's for both Tampa and Dallas!!
    The plan is Tampa outside the circle, Dallas inside the circle!!

    Glad that you made into too, it was a hell of a show (even though today's one seems to have been an absolutely awesome one), shame that we couldn't meet finally Anyway, if you ever come back to Spain (for 2010 concerts? haha ) we have to meet for sure

  9. I'm going to the 2nd Amsterdam show, and I was going to try to get in the inner circle. But it's my only show, and reading the stories here, I'm not so sure if I should do it anymore because of the lightshows. So now I'm doubting between either going just outside of the circle, at the tip, Gerard's spot (how well can you see the lightshow there?) or in the inner circle, but at the end, which is very near, only I suspect you've got more room because there's no one behind you and no guards in front in you. I believe you should be able to see the lightshow equally well from those two spots, but I'm not sure...
    Any advice?

    I honestly think that Gerard's spot on tuesday's show is THE BEST spot of all GA field. Massively better than the inner circle, and massively better than a normal spot on the rest of the GA. If I were going to another show, I'd take that place for sure.
