    i'm not tryin to be patronising at all,I think the older U2 fans of which i am one get stick for us harking back to the older days but I'm gettin bored of hearing the same old same old set.

    Just got on an excellent video boot of popmart washington and as much as it's as flashy as the 360 gig the actual songs are much much more upbeat than what we've had from the 2 barca shows,and yes maybe i'm showin my U2 age but I'd love U2 not to disregard their past and be safe and play a greatest hits tour forever and a day.

    Sorry if it came across as accusing you of being patronising matey, that wasn't my intention I know what you mean, I've got a lot of bootlegs and when you get the same kinda formula cropping up it can seem a bit repetitive but I've found it's the little things that can make such a difference, e.g. Elevation tour - pretty similar for most shows but I'll download a show for a particular snippet in one song out of the entire set and yet it can make a big difference to how one sees the show admittedly, even so, for someone such as myself I can't hark back to the early days because I wasn't there, but even so I'm dying with excitement to finally see my favourite band this summer after having waited so long (I couldn't make either of the last two tours for various reasons) and thus it doesn't matter to me whether the setlist is the same or not as other shows on the tour I guess it's the old half empty and half full debate.

    It' not a greatest hits tour, clearly. 6/22 songs from the first show were new, which hardly sold as many as other albums.

    No probs mate.

    I missed the elevation tour and was gutted.

    I express opinions as an old U2 fart I think but mean no harm,just passionate about a band i've followed for far to long!!!

  10. does anyone know if a bootleg showed up? i've looked on dime and u2torrents...maybe i'm being a bit silly since it's only been 4 hours since the show ended but you never know with the speed after yesterday

    For Barcelona I it took about 3.5 hours, 5 hours, and 5.5 hours, respectively, for each of the 3 boots to get seeded onto U2torrents - total time from the end of Moment of Surrender.

    (I think they were on Dime first and had to get reseeded onto U2T because Dime is closed off to most of us.)

    Now, I'm sure they were working as fast as they could because it was the FIRST show, but I think there's similar urgency for today.

    Hopefully within the next 2 hours we'll see some action. I'll keep F5-ing U2torrents and U2torrents' Twitter account every 15 minutes or so.
