  1. Next week I'm going to my first U2 concert - first Milano gig.

    Since this will be my first concert of that proportions and we plan to queue from morning I'd like to know what can I get into stadium (GA)? Will they let me with mine bottles of water and sandwiches?

    What do you guys bring to a U2 concert considering whole day queuing?
  2. My RHCP experience: no bottles (plastic or glass), only cardboard packages.
  3. Nou Camp was fairly leniant on tuesday. Loads of people in GA with rucksacks with bottles of watter and food. Thursday was more strict in that you had to remove caps from any bottles of water you were bringing into the stadium which was a bit of a bummer but the beer was cheaper than the water inside so not all was lost
  4. bottles (plastic, glass..), no way. I'd go for little cartons and eat the food before the gates open less to carry by the time you run in.

    I was at the Milan gig in 2005 and there was absolutely no problem to carry a (plastic) bottle or two of drink into the stadium (I was on the grendstands and don't know for GA). I even saw a guy who brought in a very large bottle (at least 5 liters, maybe more) of water without a problem. I don't know, however, how it's gonna be this tuesday. See you there! (although we're coming later and probably you will be already inside by the time we arrive).

  7. Oh wow, thats kinda wrong, but awesome at the same time But anyway - I dont think youd be really interested in bringing lots of food (if any at all) and more then a 0,5 bottle of water in there. Eat it all up while queuing.
  8. For the Melbourne shows on the vertigo tour we also had to remove the caps from drink bottles before going in, but if you're really desperate to keep the cap just put it in your pocket before they check your drink bottle.
  9. If I cant bring anything in, i'm gonna eat/drink it right in front of the steward..... just outside the stadium . No way i'm throwing it away

    36 egrees celsius over 12 or so hours. I was massively dehydrated on the first night
  11. Will the let you bring cameras, recorders etc in or are they strict on that?
    I'm hoping to record 3rd Croke Park show but I can't risk having my recorder - which was quite expensive - taken away.
  12. in barca on tue they let our plastic bottles of water in. they were taking they tops off of us though (they cause a dangerous tripping hazard when left on the floor with a lid on) we removed our own lids and placed in pockets before going in, and put them back on when we got inside
