  1. Hi all, I stumbled upon the DVD of the Rotterdam Ahoy 1992-06-15 show these days and I liked it a lot. I remember mixing the image with a SBD source long time ago but now I was really shocked how bad it sounds. So, I want to rework the audio from scratch.

    I do have two lossless SBD sources but they won't come to life and I won't be able to hide some artifacts without a slightly mixed in audience source. The only known aud source is the audio stream of the original tape, which is present on Achtungpop's version of the DVD. I don't have his version myself. So, anybody able to provide me with a rip of the audience stream of Achtungpop's DVD? I don't care that it's lossy.

    If anyone could be so generous: please don't expect an upgrade very soon - synching the SBD source again alone will take weeks and weeks, the whole process might take up to six months. And maybe I'll fail - I can't even promise I'll finish it.

  4. I can send you a rip if you still need it. Original stream is ac3, I guess.
  5. Ah I forgot about this. Thanks yeah for the offer, but I managed to get the DVD a while ago so no need.
    Still not sure if it's gonna work out. I wanted to use the aud stream for width and spread and atmosphere but it is in mono so not much width lol. Besides it is extremely hissy.
    But I tried and maybe there's something to gain. If it ends up on par with East Rutherford I would be pretty satisfied. Here a rough teaser, including birds and hiss and other things I didn't find a solution for yet: bad (mp3)
