1. Absolutely. But the performance itself wasn't that good, crowd simply went nuts but the perf wasn't outstanding. Bono didn't reach 90% of the high tones.

  2. At least if they're not going to drop it.....which i can live with...include the Shine Like Stars snippet...without that it's not nearly as good
  3. Agreed with the Shine Like Stars bit...the Slane Castle DVD had a good WOWY performance (then again, what wasn't good on that DVD?).

Yes, it sounds like there's a snippet in Sunday Bloody Sunday, and I like it.

Also, Bono says something about Snow Patrol at the beginning of Pride. I dunno what it was, but it sparked a thought. What if they let the opening act do their interpretation of Pride so that U2 didn't have to play it and they could play UTEOTW or Elevation or Bad or something? Delirious does a pretty sweet cover of it...I almost like the guitar work better on it.
  4. And I just listened all the way through One from this night, and that's pretty funny. I had just skipped through the painful parts before, but it was actually good for a bit of a laugh.

  5. So the name of that U2 intro song is "Kingdom"?!
  6. Interesting! Kingdom..........

Oh god. How many tapers did we have in the house that night?

  9. Too many, I'll stick with Bedoc for the time being. Great recording.

    Don't hold your breath...

    On a investigative side note

That intro song might have been written/performed by Gavin Friday and might have something to do with his cryptic twitter:
