1. So, I found Native Son on the internet somewhere, I forget where...and I think I like it better than Vertigo (and I'm a pretty big fan of Vertigo). It could be just me, but I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way. I like the part where he holds out the word "free" for an insanely long time while Edge goes back into the chorus riff better than the "all of this, all of this can be yours" part of Vertigo, I think that's probably the biggest part for me...

Anywho, yeah, just wondering what other people's thoughts on this were.
  2. Well, some further research on "Native Son" will lead you to discover that it's based off the novel of the same name, which I found to be a good read. I personally like Native Son better than Vertigo because it makes sense lyrically, and the sound is less radio-generic.
  3. heres a video a made a while back, nothing fancey just a rough mix of the 2
  4. Native Son beats Vertigo to me. Better lyrics, better sound. They should have released that one..
  5. Native Son, for me.
  6. That didn't show up on the topics list for me when I looked in here...sorry!
  7. i was blown away when i heard native son for the first time.....in my opinion both native son and vertigo could have both been on the album....they are both brilliant and captivating......roll on the remaster
  8. Vertigo is much better, Natvie Son Just lacks something - hence the reason Vertigo made it too the album

  9. Native Son isnt as catchy as Vertigo
But I'm not a really big fan of both songs...hope Vertigo will be performed acoustic in the future
  10. I really love both of them as well. I first got my hands on Native Son earlier this year and couldn't get enough.
