Its my fav U2 album and I really thought the 'claw' set up would be perfect for some mad ZooTV type antics! But no, its looking like a 'PG' version of what the 360' tour could be!

  4. dont you have some kind of riddle(topic) to post?

to anwser your question; ill give it a 8,5!

OK, after 50 concerts you would have 70 new songs played but... the extremely little variation of the setlist would make it as boring as the POPMart tour for me (that was THE real down of the PoP tour for me, the very little setlist changing! the performance was great, the stage awesome, the multimedia amazing ... but there was the setlist problem. Butchered the tour for me.)

They'd better stick to 35 or 40 songs (not 70) and rotate the different setlist structures. I know I have said this a million times today, but it's what I really feel.

Just getting here but here is my thoughts on this topic for not only U2 but any band who plays live 2 dates in one city

    U2 setlist 23-24 songs
    6-7 songs from No Line
3 songs from Unforgetable Fire being the 25th anniversary they should be played every night imo
the other 13-14 songs should be rotated from night to night
in the end the band needs to be able to play 35 songs live. Right now they are playing roughly 26 adding another 9 is no big deal during rehearsals so lighting etc can be spot on.
Rotate those 13 or 14 so the audience has no idea which ones they will get each night
  6. UV...wonder if WOWY and MOS will be all that's left...

  7. 90 % have no idea anyway.

  8. haha but it seems that all the videos ive seen so far all u can hear is the person holding the camera and the surrounding ppl singing with strange accents so i cant even make out u2
  9. Hello all, my 2 cents, from a newbie

I think they will not change much in the begin, as they want to get used to the setlist and the songs, listening on youtube it doesn't sound comfortable yet, but hey, it;s only the 4th concert now, guess they need to grow in it, probably also a case of not having to remember that much lyrics

Love to see here that many people would love to hear acrobat live, as it's alos one of my favourites, well, stays something to wish for I'm afraid.

Few more gigs to come and then it's Amsterdam

  10. in todays world I would have to dissagree that number and would say it will be around 20% of the audience each night will not know what is about to happen.
  11. Right, now after WOWY it's either just MOS or Crazy and then MOS, which once again proves this setlist is a copy of all the others, no surprises...oh well, I can almost be sure that the USA shows will get so many new songs and we the europeans are left with the same old setlist!!! =S

So far none of the shows had an identical setlist.
