  1. So far it's only been 4 shows but lots of negativity surrounding the setlists. Whats your opinion on them so far?

    Personally, I think its a young setlist and the band are so far unwilling to branch out. Only one spot is being lightly rotated at the moment. I'm hoping COBL and Vertigo switch places and we get rotational Achtung Baby and Pop encores. .

  4. To bring in some negativity: Of course they have to get used to the songs (although that should have been finished on June 29th) and it's clear that there will be a cock up here and there and that some tracks need to be played.
    But I don't think this setlist works. Too lame, only standouts are Vertigo and UV, the rest of the set are more or less midtemp songs that don't add to the live feeling or any variation in the flow of the show.
    They're all solid songs, no real bad ones (except that terrible Crazy performance) but no WTF moments for me. The "acoustic" part probably should come later or be scrapped totally.
    And I personally would love to see some 90's stuff in the set.
  5. I Will Follow isn't far away I bet. The lack of any Pop stuff really really is just tragic. I'm just not seeing any balls from the boys this time around. I'll be stumped if the set isn't drastically different by Dublin
  6. Agree about lack of Pop and AB.

    Thrilled with UV and TUF being back.

    Think opening is ballsy, although maybe Magnificent would work better to open.

    Think end of main set is predictable.

    All my opinion based only on seeing setlists as have listened/watched nothing.

    Will he happy to see the setlist as it stands, thrilled if 2-3 songs are added to make a 24-25 song set and those preferably 90's tracks. Keep the variation bit where it is and add some more raritiea there.

    Would love to hear Dtand Up and Being Born but seems unlikely.
  7. Rotate Desire, Angel Of Harlem and Electrical Storm, ditch One and WOWY for Bad and Hold Me Thrill Me... Play some songs from Pop too please.

    Overall I'm not dissapointed.
  8. I can't say i'm really all that aggravated about the set....i see more positives, returns of UV, TUF, Electrical Storm appearacne...than i see negatives.

    I will say i agree with the notion to scrap that mid set acoustic garbage. The gigs seem to totally slow down after starting off quick
  9. the setlist are just to typical in my opinion. I mean, I'm still giddy that they're playin UV, TUF, Electrical Storm, that is all awesome. But the ISHFWILFs and the WOWYs and even Vertigo is gettin tired. There is variety in the setlists but small ones at that. I just hope they'll hit their stride and start becomin more comfortable with switchin songs in and out of the setlist.

  11. I really don't care about individual songs bing played or not, my main complaint is a general one.
    I don't like the whole concept of OSTC (One Structure Three Changes). I strongly dislike that.

    Where's Lovetown I say.
  12. No major complaints from me - four shows in, they've grown to the idea over the years of formula, and it's with such ideas they're gonna stick. For all we know, things may be completely different come the end of this tour. I think Breathe is a nice touch for an opener - other than GOYB or something we've not seen yet, I don't think anything else would work much as an opener from NLOTH. MoS sounds like it either needs working on or perhaps should get left behind, but hey I won't complain if they're still churning it out when they hit the UK. I like the 2nd part of the set where the slower songs turn up, and I've got no complaints over the retention of the golden oldies personally, just so long as they play 'em well (and which I think they are, for the most part) - I'm happy to go with the 'keep the faith' crowd, or minority of support as it may be sure it would be cool to see some interesting changes but sod it, I'm pleased with how things look so far.
