    so let's see who of us will travel the greatest distance altogether counting only one-way, the distance from your place to the place-of-event.

    my travel account for this tour:

    Barcelona -- 1.419 km
    Berlin -- 522 km
    Amsterdam -- 245 km
    Dublin -- 1.184 km
    Gelsenkirchen -- 41 km


    Total: 3.391 km = 2.107 miles for 2009

  2. I think it's best to display it in kilometers and miles. Converting is easily, search in Google for:
    1000 km to miles
    or 1000 miles to kilometers
    And Google will tell you

    My travel scheme:

    Barcelona - 1539 km
    Dublin - 1213 km
    Gelsenkirchen - 102 km
    Amsterdam - 149 km (yes, travelling to Germany is closer than Amsterdam )

    Total = 3003 km = 1 865 miles.

  9. The closest show to my city is 250 miles away....that might explain why my total is so high

  11. About 200 miles to Chicago. That's it so far...although I may try to sneak away from IU for a little while...if I get a job, I'll think about not telling my parents and slipping down to Atlanta or something...
