1. but they werent regulars? Lol. they came and went. haha
  2. the encore seems so short as opposed to the Vertigo tour. It reminds me of Zoo TV tho

    Ultraviolet
    WOWY
Moment of Surrender replacing Love is Blindness. haha i wonder if the band thought about zoo tv while thinking that sequence up

  3. No way. Elevation is one of my favorite U2 songs EVER!!! I so hope they play it in Toronto! (I'l also like a bit of Lemon and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" as well!)

I love it....Moment of Surrender is good now....it's gonna be awesome the further we go

  5. i dont think they can get rid of WOWY just because it goes so well with Ultraviolet Its a packaged deal i can settle with. One however...
  6. The set lists are ok for me, they have played some old stuff; TUF and ultraviolet etc and have made a couple of changes. One thing that supports a structured set list is the band get really good at playing the songs, the Milan bootleg performance is way way way better than the Barcelona opening one (especially the NLOTH songs) and will only get better, if they changed the set list around too much the gigs would lose the consistant performance they are building towards.

Best songs are: unknown caller, moment of surrender, ultraviolet, no line, and even get on your boots sounds so much better than the pre tour performances. not sure about "crazy", but they have balls to even atempt the remix version. breathe doesn't suit the opening position, maybe better to open the encore before ultraviolet.

    +1
  8. I hope they'll some safe classics like Sunday, bloody Sunday, Pride, One or With or Without you.

I like the return of Ultra Violet and Unforgettable Fire. Also the debut of Electrical storm is great.

I really look forward to a debut of Drowning man
  9. Hey everyone! I enjoy reading everyone's thoughts about this.
Overall, I'm pleased and excited about the setlist! We get "The Unforgettable Fire" and "Electrical Storm"!!
I agree with everyone that WOWY NEEDS the "Shine Like Stars" bit at the end. As this will be my first U2 show, I was a little bummed that they are not doing "New Year's Day" but that makes sense considering it is almost always included. I am still hoping "Bad" and/or "Running to Stand Still" will make an appearance eventually! "Bad" is AMAZING live!
  10. oh, here was the forum i was looking for
    i apologize...

maybe this isnt the place, but with an upcoming show...i feel its probably best

anyone feel the setlist doesnt match the tour?
i've been following u2 since i was 10, got my first taste the day AB came out. my dad had it on in the car, and i'm well aware of how they work.

my thing is, im sitting here with milan I on the stereo, and just got a few goosebumps listening to stand by me with that whole stadium singing along, the angel and it's snippets (say what you want, im fine with mj snippets or whatever, its u2 havin fun again). point is, its bringin back zootv feeling, its bringin back that experience

just seems like the set is too slow, nowhere near the energy. i look at that stage (thanks to u2start, milan lights is my desktop) but the whole get up cries out for u2's edgier stuff (no pun intended) it cries out for some of those stadium intended pop tracks, more achtung, more ego if that makes sense. even songs from no line dont sound like theyre being done justice. nloth had that vibe and made the entire record for me, but live, it doesnt have that beat.

idk, venting i suppose, and im well aware we're only 4 shows in, but something is missing
  11. To me Breathe isn't that great an opener for a show, and why bother keeping Vertigo?

    The rest isn't too bad.
  12. I think the 4th show was the best setlist so far. I love Stuck in a Moment!
