I didn't say "gun" for a reason. lol

I have to ask now: why, how, wtf?
But seriously, why is that necessary?
  2. I know I'm an asshole, but could you guys try to avoid quoting that wht... guy please?
Forces me to read the nonsense.

you not getting a laught out of this?

  4. Well, I'm afraid he's serious in his opinion. That's rather tragic than funny...
  5. So let's see, the Constitution gives people the right to bear arms. We have one person saying we should arm our police with better weaponry, and others saying it's fine the way it is or something else. My stance on this is, if we arm our police with better weaponry, that's only going to give criminals the want to have better weapons to defend themselves while they do the crime, right? Let the arms race begin. And I'm damn sure no one is going to rob the local gas station with a pen.

Jeremy is right when income has to do with crime rate. As Bono bitches about in his rants, poverty is rising. The higher the poverty/unemployment levels, the higher the crime rate is. That's a fact. Yes there are other factors, but that's a fact.

And yes, the states with fewer gun laws have lower crime rates, but do they have lower populations than states with more gun laws? Just because a state has fewer laws doesn't mean a state is going to have a lower crime rate, especially with the size of the population of the state.

Here's a question for everyone: you see a man with a sniper rifle about to shoot a baby. You have a gun in your hands. What do you do? I'll share my answer right after I hear everyone else's, especially Aaron's.

Another question for everyone, what would the world be without guns if everyone had to get rid of them. Everyone. How about weapons? Let's get rid of those too. All of a sudden I'm called a pussy and a pacifist for wanting peace. Isn't there a saying, "violence is not the answer"? I love the ideal world, don't you?

Now here's reality. People suck. Why? They just do. So what am I trying to say, that people need violence to be taught right from wrong? They don't. Again, as Jeremy said, it's a variation of factors. My firm belief is it's how people grew up. What they were taught, how they applied it, and lessons learned. What can be done? Well, you can establish laws, but you can't tell people how to run their life. So, not much can be done.

So what does this mean? We can only go forward, toward extinction. Let me know when people are carrying handheld nuclear devices that instantly vaporize people.

Here's a quote for everyone: "The hands that build, can also pull down, the hands of love"

Let's destroy the world with evil.

Now, here's my opinion on weapons. I don't like them. I say the need for weapons just shows you can't defend yourself. Nature makes us do crazy things, it's whether we can control ourselves or not. Lust, jealously, etc. That's naturally every person in the world. I say if we can control ourselves, then we can make life better.

Now I'll leave everyone with a better quote, "You can't always get, what you want..."
