That's true, it's strange that in the countries they love the most (i think) so Ireland, GB, USA they didn't sell it... And no there weren't any B-sides, i saw it in a store but didn't buy it because of that

i'd buy it anyway just to have but a single without b-sides definatley isn't worth it. I'm sure they had their reasons for releasing it in limited countries
  3. While Bad is an excellent song, it is not really single material. It's two times too long and too free-form for radio play. I mean, that's what singles are about, right? At least it was when UF came out,,,

Besides, your average radio listener would've been stumped by Bono's "-ation" words. Just not a good candidate for a single - probably why they didn't choose it in the first place. The song is just too good for the narrow tastes of commercial radio.

your right in many ways. I like the fact that many of U2's best songs have not been released as singles. I'm glad that Bad and Acrobat were not played to death on TV and Radio. Too much exposure can kill a song

And you're right about that too...Elevation lost it's charm for example. I listen to studio songs quite a lot, but I always skip Elevation. Live is okay, but I've heard the studio version too many times now. Vertigo could have been the same, but I don't listen to radio that much anymore.
  6. miracle drug

That's what I wanna see as singles too.

  8. OK OK, my list was based on physical singles released worldwide. And these songs were not that. Otherwise you can count an EP as a single too, so...

    Bad
    Kite
    Ultra Violet
    Acrobat
    Original of the Species

  9. - Miracle Drug
    - BAD
    - Kite
    - Until The End Of The World
    - Ultraviolet
  10. -Miracle Drug
    -Running To Stand Still
-Until The End of the World
    -Kite
    -Do You Feel Loved?

Agree that Bad and Acrobat are stunners but also agree they wouldn't work on radio. Best left for us!
  11. Mercy
    Kite
    Gone
    Zooropa
    Bad
  12. Bad
    Gone
Until the End of the World
    Miracle Drug
    Bullet the Blue Sky

I actually just assumed that these songs had been released as singles when i first heard them, later finding they weren't
