1. 2nd source for Paris I: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=257488
Also, Katja filmed the show and is planning to share it soon.
Check out her video of Desire:

From the reviews, Paris II must have been a hell of a show. Seems like the band had fun with an amazing crowd.
  2. AWESOME, indeed it surely was a great show

So, we can assume that the first complete DVD of the tour (shared - and for free) will be Katja's one? If it has that amazing quality... whoa

I wonder what they will think about, maybe Cedars or WAS?

Stand up comedy would be great.
  4. Stand Up Comedy would be awsome

I don't understand why it's not part of the set already. The song sounds like it was made for this show.
  5. Great vid, curious about the 2nd source.

The band seem bored of the song, there doesn't seem to be much passion anymore. I say, drop WOWY and just play it now and again so the passion comes back. Where the hells is SYCMIOYO by the way? that song could replace WOWY...

For my part, urgh hell no - Sometimes... is a fantastic song on the album, but after the Vertigo performances, please don't bring it back. I can agree with maybe giving WOWY a rest bet not for sometimes, and I don't think Miss Sarajevo would work as part of the closing encore. All I Want Is You would be a better option in my view but that's just my opinion

Great vid, cheers for posting Yeah great performance, loved seeing Bono dashing around like a nutter at some points and they really seemed to be enjoying themselves

Am I one of only a few people who don't think SUC would be any good live? Just wondering. If they were gonna bring anything back, I wish it would be A Sort Of Homecoming but the chances of that? Hmm, small at best I guess.
  7. Both show were great. Second night's main set was better (lovely Stuck in a Moment, Bono in a great mood speaking a lot more than on the previous show - and in french), but the encore on the first night was fucking surreal. A cool, cool rain started pouring just at the right time, the mood was just perfect and the performance pretty tight. I nearly died during UV. Best U2 song ever. Moment of Surrender was pretty much nailed and, in my opinion, turns out to be a perfect closer. WOWY fits really well, and when you're in the stadium, under the rain, dancing with a girl, you get into it. Period.

Crowd as a whole was better on the 12th, but people around me were 10 times more into it where I was standing on the 11th. I had GA both nights, lots of fun.

As far as downsides go, well, Breathe doesn't work well as an opener. Larry's arrival on stage is fucking badass, but it doesn't get things moving afterwards. Put No Line in that spot.

All the political stuff is boring. I like the fact that they are a political band, but let the songs speak for themselves, please. The texting shit before One was ridiculous.

When are they going to realize Pop is one of their best albums ?

Mysterious Ways was a cool addition, but Bono dedicated it to Johnny Hallyday. I know they're friends, but come on. Hallyday is a dickhead.

Crowd around me sucked on the 2nd night.

I didn't bring the dancing girl home.

All in all, one of the best week ends of my life. It was my first U2 shows, I actually loved every song they played, especially the ones from NLOTH. And that first night encore was definitly one of my best live experiences ever. Unbelievable.

Btw : organization was terrible, Kaiser Chiefs did a great job.
  8. my first time at stade de france.

what an amazing day.i loved the bars around the stadium.very surreal listening to u2 in the bars, where the real u2 were rehearsing right across the street.

the actual show for me was amazing.the stage was mind blowing.the band were on amazing form.

although the set list couldve been better.

the band sounded really tight.and the atmosphere was very good.

    highlights were definately.

    unforgettable fire
    u,v
    walk on
    sbs sounded really good.

    and the stage.was incredible.

i had a brilliant day.best u2 gig ive been too.

even though they played too much new u2 and not enough old school u2.

but u.f and u.v sounded perfect.the encore and the rain was very emotional.

    kaisers were good too.

'Stand Up Comedy' is so shockingly average its untrue! Clutching at straws I think because we are desperate for them to get some 'rocking' songs into the set! The last thing this tours needs is more new songs! The set is over reliant on the new songs, 4 right off the bat is too much, they are all great songs but could be used in a far better way!

agreed.a lot of newish u2 songs.

the set list needs 4 or 5 rocking u2 songs in there.i will follow/last night on earth/gone/until the end of the world/new years day would all be amazing in that set list.

that said they were amazing live.but more rocking u2.

  11. Paris 2.Very great show
