    I disagree. I want to hear new U2 songs and not the same old stuff again and again. Of course they need to play some classics, too, but I'm always more excited and more curious about the new songs and how they will turn out and develop.

    I think Stand up comedy would be a good "rock song" that fits the setting very well. I like the song a lot and it would just be a fun song, like the Crazy remix.

    The beginning of the show is IMO very good. I think it's brave of U2 to start with four new songs and it works.
  5. I just think 7 tracks from the new (average) album is quite enough!

    Having 4 at the start seems especially strange to me, you can see by all the videos of the show openings that the crowd is nowhere near as animated as the previous tours! Breathe is a great song but as an opener it is very weak!! ( 'Magnificent' would be a better choice IMO and they will surely open with it as the tour progresses!)

    Stand Up Comedy is pants, youve said as much yourself by saying it could be 'just be a fun song' ?! And as for the 'Crazy remix'???

    Breathe is a better opener then Vertigo or Elevation but after the nice opening riff and drums it's not that amazing for an opener. Some say NLOTH would be better but I like it as a 2nd song... feels kinda like The Fly. Maybe they should open with an older song like Mofo

    Magnificent is a an average U2 song and I would love to see them ditching it.

    No, they should never open with an old song.
    And I agree about Magnificent, they made far better stuff...also on the album itsself...
  11. My first U2 show ever (paris II)...

    OH MY F... GOD !!!!!!

    Huge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it !!!

    I filmed quite a lot of moments from the show (the screens only). I'll soon be posting them, if someone feels like editing them with other people's videos. Some are complete, some are not. The Desmond Tutu speech actually made me cry.
