1. Originally posted by Stu:Yeah it's kinda boring, in fact, VERY boring, BUT, if they're making 4 video's, thats not too bad.

I'm tipping the Somerville Theatre video is one [being aired on Aussie tv over the past few weeks], plus the one they're making up from the vision of the Barcelona night 2 concert.

yeh i seen that one on max during a lunch with u2 special, i like this new one better then that.
  2. Like it
  3. think its ok.. like it a lot actually!

lot of deep storys in it..
  4. it's been removed due to copyright reasons.

  5. Really? YouTube still says to me 'This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions.'
  6. I dig how synchronized it is-reminds me of "Star Guitar" by the chemical brothers. Not a big fan of the style though.
    GOYB was better.
  7. Just seen the animated version on vidzone for ps3 Best to describe it as awful and pointless.
  8. It's interesting...I think I like it.
  9. I'm not a fan of it. They could have done so much better.
  10. I commented the video on YouTube under the name "Quiggs94."

You just need to watch it a couple of times to understand it. It didn't click for me until the end of the second viewing. The song doesn't represent a bunch of high school kids partying (which is how I first thought of it), but it shows how most people are just used to hardship, or "crazy" times. It becomes their normal. So, "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" means that if the person who is used to hardship, etc. fell under a period of wonderful times, they may not know what to do, they would have forgotten how to have fun. The video also shows how people need other people to get through bad situations. Happiness is an emotion too. It also urges people to not grow up too fast, when the boy in the train sees the tired old man, then sees himself becoming that man, then runs away.

I didn't type that exactly how I wanted to and I find it hard to do it perfectly. But I'm sure that you all got an idea of how I translated the video.

As for the actual video, I like it a lot. I really love that U2 are trying new things. The only thing that I would change about it is the energy of the video during the chorus, if you watch the video without the music, it seems very linear. The animation was cute, yet for some reason I see every girl who wears a lot of black eyeliner to school everyday liking the video. I have no idea why, I just have a bad feeling.
