After having been on front row in Amsterdam 1, my girlfriend and I had seats for the seccond show. Instead of queing all day we decided to go to the Amstel Hotel, the hotel where the band was staying in Amsterdam. I prayed that I could catch a glimpse from the guys over there and so full of expectations we took of....At around 16:00 Bono came outside!!!! Although there were close to 300 fans over there he walked straight to the corner where I was standing and started to chat with the fans! When he was right in front of me I shook his hand and asked him to sign the concert review from that days paper. He looked to the article/picture and because it was all in Dutch he asked me wheather the critics were positive about last night or not. It was such a moment, ME and BONO discussing the newspaper!!!!!!!! When he was about to leave a guy next to me asked him to play BAD at tonight show...Bono looked up and I repeated the question: PLEASE play BAD tonight! In the mean time The Edge came out. I also got the change to shake his hand and told him he was the best! Man, this was a dream came true! I spoke to Edge and Bono, made pictures with them and got a Bono autograph!
As you all know, the following show was Epic and they did play BAD!!! Although I know it wasnt because I asked for it but it felt so unbelievable special!!!!! All together it was without any doubt the best concert I've seen so far and one of the greatest days in my life!!
