A well, that's true, but we got also this show, almost. Imagine Barcelona, Milan and Paris, then we might consider us very lucky.

Some dining tips for the people there, Eddies Rockets on Dame Street, a very good noodle bar at, guess it was South king George street (side street of Dame street) and Wagamama beside st Stephens Green shoping centre. And a very good Italian Pasta Fresco in a side street of Grafton street, at the end towards st Stephens Green.
And off course, don't forget a trip with the DART to Killiney

Well thats a unfare comparison. Because we know the previous shows doesnt make those less good.
  2. If they started with a set like dublin, Barca's set would be equally a suprise wouldnt it

  3. In Holland we would say: 'Das een waarheid als een koe'

I heard different stories about the audience last night.

Even though I think seats are a very good choice if you want to see everything, I still prefer GA, simply because the atmosphere is better. In Milan we had seats, they were great, all the people dancing and jumping. A friend of mine had seats in Berlin and she sad it was crap, crowd was dead. I feel like I'm really "outside" of the whole show if I'm in seats and so far away from everything. GA is the only real option for me if I'm going to a concert. I usually do a lot of jumping and singing, and sometimes when you're up in the stands you're the only one doing it and it's strange.

  5. What a show last night. Walking into Croke Park I was amazed at the size of the claw, it really is huge. In terms of the support acts, Dempsey was OK but I thought Glasvegas were awful. When they finished, the wait for U2 to hits the stage was agonising, not helped by the intro song stopping and starting again. When they did come on, I was so happy, and Bono and the lads seemed in great form. I think the crowd were quiet to start, but they got really into it as the show progressed. The highlights of the show for me was Until the End of the World, it really is superb live. I was jumping like a mad man when that came on. Loved hearing the crowd singing 40 as well. The whole thing was fantastic really. Off there again tonight, bring it on!!!

  6. True Risto, was more referring to what Dieder said not being the best set anymore. We almost got the same, maybe should have said I was very lucky with that, and meant the mix up of songs was so much different then the first 3 locations, but didn't mean they weren't good, as I enjoyed them (on youtube then )

Very much agree with you, as every U2 show is a highlight
  7. can't wait to hear what's in store for tonight's show imo, they have to get better every night in dublin, otherwise it'd be a bit of a disappointment.

however, the first night seems to be one to remember already. amsterdam II is still up there, though. still among the top5 so far, I'd say.
  8. After Amsterdam 1 I was looking forward to seats too but after Amsterdam 2 I never want to have seats again... no atmosphere, people ask you to sit etcetera Only advantage of seats are the peace you can go there, get a beer...
  9. Oh my god! I had a great time last night . Highlights for me were Breathe, NLOTH, UTEOTW, I'll Go Crazy and Ultraviolet. When they started playing One instead of UC i thought TUF had been dropped but then as the opening notes came of TUF i cheered like hell Me & my Dad had so much fun that we think that we might get tickets for next time
  10. i was there last night and wow what a show.....i was hoping for a few setlist changes and boy i wasnt disappointed...the claw and screens are amazing and the whole stage setup is second to none.....i had a great view and the sound was phenomenal......highlight was bad.........i think its good to be back home....lets see what tonight brings....cant wait now!!!
  11. I can't believe people ask others to sit, I'm not gonna sit, at all, if they can't see, tough, they should stand to, it makes you feel way more involved and different. You could sit down and watch a concert on tv, you can't jump and sit either
