    Urban Hymns is one of my favourite albums. Paul Weller is an old-school rocker. The album is full of rock energy and jazz playfulness.

    wasn't sure when i bought it, my friend raved and raved about it. Suffice to say they are now my favorite heavy band. Imo they are one of the best.

    i would describe this album as a whole in terms of a single song, best to listen all the way through. many of the songs are seperated by short reflective interludes. quite a dynamic listen.

    Rant over...I learnt my lesson. Don't buy albums and videos that cable TV tell you are fucking fantastic. Because they aren't.

    The reason I'm annoyed with that sort of music is because my younger sister had Nickelback up full pelt, and singing along, so it was bad enough listening to sandpaper and then having that echo back - it doesn't get worse on a Tuesday night than that.

  12. Yeah, some songs are brilliant but some pretty bad. Would have made a killer ep though.
