1. i would like Unknown Caller as the closer
  2. Putting One early in the set did something I didn't expect. It felt like that personal song it used to be. Recently One felt like a brand name representing the One campaign. Nice sentiment but the song itself never really matched the idea too me. Plus Streets into Bad is exciting as hell. Streets into One feels almost acedemic. I am sure this is a temporary change to the setlist, and One will again move to the end, but for now I am happy.

One has a great spot indeed, and if it doesn't work at least you now after Pride have a feeling like; at least One is finished already.

Yep....you just mentioned 2 of the highlights

    One and Pride that is
  5. I actually want to hear One. This will be my first concert and I want to hear the classics!!
  6. As a loyal fan of U2 I will always try and see them live but I would rather them mix things up a bit a more and drop songs like:

    Pride
    One
Sunday Bloody Sunday (Strong lyrics/ meaning but poor tune)
Until the end of the World
I Still haven't found what I'm looking for

Having many of their dvds the songs mentioned above become boring to listen to because they are overplayed (Also not a big fan of Vertigo). I don't mind if their setlist has no consistency or flow to it and the transitions between songs are poorer than what they are now but give us some surprise.

I would love to see them play the lesser popular songs i.e. the non-commercial songs. It would blow my mind if they performed these lesser played songs in an acoustic set in a Hard Rock Cafe for example.
  7. 3 shows in Dublin and 0 perfomances of Electrical Storm. Have we seen its life as a live song come and go already? I hope not.

  8. I think they'll play it more times. They just need more practice in my opinion...

  9. One of my friends is the same way. The 9/20 gig will be her first U2 show and she really wants them to play One, while I am the complete opposite. One of us will be disappointed, and I'm resigned that it will be me.

I hope you get your wish. There's no better feeling than hearing the opening chords to your favorite song.
  10. In my opinion, one of the best things of this new tour is the fact that they change songs in the setlist more often than they did it in the last tour. There are the songs they have to play every show and there are some songs that they can substitute. It's great to see Mysterious Ways one day and New Years Day at the day after, or Stay, In A Little While, Stcuk In A Moment, Until The End Of The World etc. I just think they could change the encore songs sometimes.
  11. I think the lack of Pop stuff with such a great stage set-up is a crime. Sure the ATYCLB, UF and NLOTH goes together well but it wouldn't hurt to add Gone, Please, or maybe Mofo. :/
