1. My son is named Leon David. But we didn't have U2 in mind when we decided that.

    Alex
  2. If I'll ever have a son, I'll name him Adam, after our Adam.
  3. i would probably, but i won't tell the mother thats were it came from
  4. No lol - if I did name any future children Dave, Adam etc. it would be a coincidence.
  5. We did not give our children U2-names, but tonight we will take them to the concert in Amsterdam. Our son, 10 years, and doughter, 8 years, will be our special guests as we will show them what U2 performing live is all about. It was a promiss we made 5 years ago going to the HTDAAB concert leaving them behind at the baby-sit. Vertigo is their favorite, so tonight if you see a little girl standing on her chair shouting: Uno, Dos, Tres..., she will be ours.

  6. Yeah got a boy Joshua he is 14 and a girl Samantha Pride she is 18

Samantha's first U2 concerts coming up friday and saturday.
    She can't wait!!
  7. If we have another (boy OR girl), then the poor sod is gonna be saddled with the name Lady With The Spinning Head Silas. Man, it's so easy to make your sprogs hate you...

Awe cool i will see you ther just look out for the 2 nutters in wedding outfits as i am getting married that day and to celebrate my reception is at Croke park with all the best fans in the world what a perfect night.
  9. I honestly want to name my son Paul (or at least give him Paul as a middle name). And Paul would have two meanings for me as Paul is also my brother's name. So yes, I would name my child after Bono.
  10. Maybe as middle name.. violet or pride *giggles* that'd be nice
  11. I like the idea of the middle name. Nice one, Giza. And Smurf, celebrating your wedding at a U2 show - that's devotion. Hope your spouse likes them too!

I wouldn't / didn't name my son after anything U2 related but his middle name is from my favorite Shakespeare character.

And, I've always thought it was sort of ironic that Larry's a little disdainful of the uber-fans and yet he was all teary at Graceland and he named his son after Elvis. He of all people should understand the devotion some fans feel.
  12. Ya will see from my post above in July that a baby was on the way and here is the first picture of baby Larry who was born yesterday 30th October . We are only a few hours off the 31st of October which means Larry and Larry would have shared the same birthday which would have been too perfect
