1. Having been in the Cusack lower for both gigs ,have to say Saturday was the better one for me.Set-list was slightly better but Bono's performance was electric ,even moreso than Friday. The opening of WTSHNN where the crowd carried it is something that will stay with me forever ....cannot wait till Monday night, normally they save the best for last where Dublins concerned
  2. Fantastic photos and stories all around
  3. made my mind up. Friday was amazing. Bono sounded and looked proud to be Irish. I have never saw that from him

  4. I totally agree a fantastic performance.
  5. Just back from a nice afternoon in Temple Bar and the Guinness Storehouse

Agree Friday night amazing - what a setlist too.

Last night I was a bit disapointed to be honest - standard setlist which to be fair they have nailed - but something missing for me - the atmosphere for me was not half as a good as Barcelona - or indeed for me as good as Croke in 2005.

    Kaiser Chiefs though were excellent.

Looking forward though to tomorrow night - lets hope we get a real surprise or two in the setlist
  6. neither of the 2 nights so far have topped Barcelona as far as atmosphere was concerned.

  7. Really? I thought it was much better than both Barcelona shows. At Barcelona the crowd was dead before the start of the encore.

it was the build up and the party atmosphere leading up to the start of the Barcelona show that stuck out for me. All the 'ole ole ole', the mexican waves, the balloons, an opening act that engaged the crowd etc

Croke was less than half full 15 minutes before the show

That's very true, the build up in Barcelona was amazing. Place to be.
  11. not as much setlist variation as I would've thought. the 3rd show might have a few surprises, though.
