  1. My favourite U2 song at the moment. The live version is awesome
  2. This might sound weird, but I only realized the other day that this song was over 6 mins! I was listening to it on my iTunes and had to look twice. It never seemed like it went on for that long. I guess that means I like it more than I thought?

    What's the best live performance (with a good quality boot) to date? Have their been any soundboard/ pro shot recordings yet?

    Even from the poor quality Barcelona recordings this song has made a impressive transition from album to live performance with nothing lost along the way.

    The only thing I don't like about the live performances is the way the band reprise the chorus after the solo, to indulge in more audience singalong, it doesn't suit the nature of the song - it isn't Crazy Tonight.
  4. Milan 1 and Milan 2 are good quality boots with great versions of this song. I like the extra chorus it just adds to a neater ending

    First of all, the Barcelona shows had a more-than-decent quality, I don't know which recordings have you listened but there is an awesome 4 (or 4'5) stars matrix of the 06-30 show which I strongly recommend you. Also both Milan concerts rock very hard, performance and sound quality wise.

  8. This song already was one of my favourites from NLOTH, but it's just amazing when played live. One of the best parts of the shows.

  12. Very good live although Edge hasnt nailed the solo yet... seems to be a little rushed during the solo, rest of the song has improved live.
