I completely agree! I'd love to hear Discotheque. I can only imagine the crazy light show that would accompany!
  2. They have played a bit of Pop during Elevation but quickly dropped it. Might come back eventually, just be patient.

I completely agree. I think we'll see Discotheque before this tour is over.
  4. all I want is that they drop COBL and make room for another song. I Will Follow, for example, rocks live
  5. ^COBL is classic latter-day U2, man.

Sunday Bloody Sunday is like flogging a dead horse now though, I reckon.

  6. I know it's classic, no doubt about that -- it just doesn't work for me, never has and I gave it a chance for 5 concerts now.... it still doesn't work for me well... it's just me, I guess
  7. Firstly, I agree about they should bring some Pop in there.
Altough, as how I've seen the show they might not even need it. The show is "complete" as it is now, there's no need for putting in songs from a whole different era/genre. Of course they'll eventually bring some other stuff, eg on later legs, but for now its good as it is.

They wont play Pop in America either, since thats where the album failed...I suppose that IF we will get to see Pop-songs in the future, it will be in Australia or a future European-comeback.

And Sunday Bloody Sunday isnt dead, it couldnt be more alive

There are the songs they have to play every show and there are some songs that they can substitute. It's great to see Mysterious Ways one day and New Years Day at the day after, or Stay, In A Little While, Stcuk In A Moment, Until The End Of The World etc. I just think they could change the encore songs sometimes.

Im pretty sure the last tour had MORE of a setlist rotation that this tour. on vertigo they had the encores that got switched up and the segment after BD and before BD and after Elevation. it had lke 3 sections that were always a guess. this tour only has one cylce and its in the first half before UC.

That's true but they're playing more different songs now I guess. I don't remember it so much but I think at the begining of the last tour they didn't play a big number of different songs. Till now, they played Stay, Stuck In A Moment, Mysterious Ways, ES, In A Little While, Desire, AOH etc. but I have to check to be sure about it

So in other words they werent as sure from their case as they are now, therefore they changed so much
  11. I went to the 2 Amsterdam concerts and was happily surprised that there were
2 major set changes in those nights. Of course Bad was my dream to hear and
it was fulfilled the 2nd night.

But I sure wished for some early stuff (like Out of Control, like they did at the
Elevation-tour in 2001). Or I Will Follow,or Electric Co.That would have rocked the joint

I couldn't ignore the feeling that they are a bit "auto-piloting" this first leg of the tour.
But hey, they are almost 50
