Hi there, we're U2Forums Band and we're proud to present our first recorded piece of music. It's a cover version of U2's great song Ultraviolet (Light My Way). It's going to be released as a single in limited CD format (with cover art. and some bonus track) to be given for free to everyone who'd like to have a 'hard copy' on our fan-meetings and now, it's available to download from the link and you can hear it here - www.myspace.com/u2forumsband.
We're not a typical cover band who gathers one day in one studio for a session. We've 'met' and get to know each other on U2 dedicated internet forum. All of us were making some music for our own projects, and then came an idea - why not join our forces and record a U2 cover? And so, we did it. We've been recording it for three months in four different locations in Poland. We've never even seen our second guitarists live, all tracks were recorded somewhere else, then sent to our little amateur HQ in Jacek's house. First came drums, then bass line, then guitars, vocals and finally mixing stuff. A lot of work, a lot of time, a lot of heart put into, and here it is. It's just for our own fun, pleasure and first of all, for you, all U2 fans. Hope you'll like it!

  7. Not bad at all. Guitar especially is excellent. Good work
  8. Agree with Dan, also a good imitation of Bono's voice from that era.
  9. I really enjoyed listening to this mate!!!!

It sound quality, great proffessional recording.

    Very good, I'm well impressed

Very different but simular to the original, it gives a purpley, greeny blue feel to it, if you know what I mean. I love songs that make me think of colours .

Keep up the good work, I'd love to hear another, like Discotheque or something from Pop

    Nice one
  10. Just listened... I'm very impressed with your band. And the recording is pretty awesome, too! I think you all could pull off a good version of Lemon as well. Keep it up!
  11. The chick sounds hot. in the beginning...
  12. that's immense, well done!

the guitar and the MacPhisto-style vocals are really good.
