hopefully they get it fixed when they land in London
  5. and you should hear some of my proper jokes
  6. I was there and it was abso-fucking-tastic! Bono's voice was absolutely great in all the songs (prbably thanks to the insane voume though) and crowd was fantastic where I was. 2 rows infront of the middle of the catwalk. We were jumping to breathe, boots etc and entire verigo, that song kicks ass live. Crowd singing along in vertigo, wowy, mos etc was deafening. Bono seemed to be really touched by the wawe white thingy too. Now I'm preparing for the second show. I got a seat just to te left of the stage, looking straight down at the middle of the stage.

  7. LOL, true. This is Bonos best voice since ZooTV tour, no doubt about that.

    2. In The Unforgettable Fire Bono is skipping the entirety of

    Stay tonight in a lie
    I'm only asking but I
    I think you know
    Come on take me away
    Come on take me away
    Come on take me home
    Home again

and just signing "stay tonight" over and over. I especially am confused by this because it's one of the most beautiful parts of the song!

Anyway, both have been done enough so it isn't Bono forgetting lyrics...it's something else. Any ideas/guesses?

    1. Yesterday I listened to Milano 2 Ultraviolet, and it was something like "I guess it's the price to pay, I know it's not cheap".

    2. In Berlin, he sang "in a lie" part. It's not about forgetting, it's about trying other stuff and sometimes fucking it up.

  8. Bono's voice is great, better than it has been in a long, long time. However there has been a few shows where his voice hasn't been that great, which is understandable since his voice is allowed to get tired now and then. But, I still feel that the 5th leg of the Vertigo tour especially in Australia and Japan his voice was cleaner and better in technique. I've noticed that recently he has slipped out of the better techniques used in the 5th leg and began to hurt his voice again a little. But this is just my observation.

  9. They're gonna be putting together a DVD with clips like that? Whenever it is I'm not worried but to see footage like that so close...it could be the best once since the San Diego 2005 show or Buenos Aires 2006 or that Hawaii 2006 HD footage which was killer.

On Bono's voice, it's the best since the Zoo Tour. Finally, he's letting it go and actually using what's left of it to it's full potential.

  10. I think Bono could do with catching his breath a bit before butchering the chorus.
