1. Naa. They are always welcome as a break.

But there are better ones than Stuck..

    I think the set rocks

I'm one of those disappointed in this static setlist - I got excited when I saw a pre-tour Rolling Stone article with the Edge in which he sad:

"We're talking about resurrecting songs we haven't played in a long time,I have a list of every U2 song — some I can't remember anymore — even some of the B sides that we've never played live. We were thinking how much fun it would be to play something like [Joshua Tree outtake] 'Luminous Times.' Certain songs from the last couple of tours, we may not play again. We want to find songs that feel fresh and valid."

And what has that translated to? Ultraviolet and Unforgettable Fire? Okay, but that's only 2 out of 23-25 songs...other than that it's shockingly predictable (Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, WOWY, I Still Haven't Found, Beautiful Day, New Years Day)...songs we've heard on every tour for quite a long while now...
  3. I would have thought people would be happy that for only the 3rd time since the end of the Elevation tour, all 4 ATYCLB singles have been played live .
  4. General question. In the introduction to GOYB live, is that a pre-recorded track of "let me in the sound" or is that Edge or Larry singing it?

    It is pre-recorded video/sound

  6. I'd love to hear an acoustic 'Staring at the Sun'. Hasta La Vista style.
  7. Just got back home, we waited 2 hours to drive back because of the traffic jam. Now got home in little more than an hour.

It was a solid show, but nothing more than that. Edge had some weird stuff going on, wrong notes, solo's not played well, blown-up amplifier, I wonder if there's something going on in his private life. Bono also asked him if he was "okay" during Magnificent.

Crowd was good, but the crowd around us (behind stage) were awfull, even worse than mainstream fans. Some even left before the encore, or went two times for a beer. Didn't sing, clap or move.

I loved that they played Vertigo twice hehe.

Also lot's of technical glitches, screens didn't came down first time properly, the lightbulb at the top broke during Ultra Violet which made WOWY even worse than it already is performed this tour: without beautiful rotating lights on the audience.

I loved the indoor, show was dark only after two songs already.

Made some great photos again, from the videoscreens this time. Also made two HQ videos, from the intro & breathe and SBS. Will upload to YouTube asap.

As we walked on the stairs I saw U2 leaving in 2 helicopters, lucky them, avoiding traffic jams.

I disliked the setlist, I've seen Stuck by now. I was hoping for Until, Mysterious Ways or I Will Follow. And Desire or Angel of Harlem, but none of them.. This was the worst of 6 shows I've seen this tour, but still good enough to have some fun. Crazy Tonight was amazing, and Bono was also in a good mood. Though he did forget a lot of lyrics, and messed up songs, as usual. That's Bono. Crowd went crazy on Elevation thoug, great view.

The a capella Elevation verse after the end of Elevation was awesome by the way.

After the show ended, I truly thanked them for 6 great shows, hope to see them again next year I've had an amazing time this past month.

One more thing, I had seats the second time, and this time behind instead of opposite of the stage. And usually U2 comes down to the back of the stage for one or two (accoustic) songs. But this time they forgot us, so that one time that I was there, U2 didn't notice there were also people on the back.. Too bad
