Hamish isnt that bad on Slane (only the closeups) and Boston, but Chicago is awfull. Not a good show either.
Zagreb would be cool
It was?
Oh...forgive me my mistake
EDIT: Couldnt they find a better version of UTEOTW then?

He's rubbish, period. Get a bootlegger to do the taping I say.
About Bono on Zoo Station...that's terrible. Gerard originally pointed it out and I couldn't believe it. I'm sure the band don't even see the final results.

Have any band ever done a true one-night concert film? Popmart Mexico is two nights. Keep an eye out for a lady with a balloon in the crowd early on. The middle part of Streets at Slane Castle is a dead giveaway too.
Chicago is a completely crap edit with mistakes left right and centre - and Vertigo Milan...I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't part of the 18 Singles set, because that's possibly the worst audio mix to date, and gives me a headache. That said, some editing on my part fixed it up a little to tone down the vocals.
Best film to date? Joshua Tree Paris. It's one night, has more modern yet classic kind of filming and even though it doesn't have Streets, neither does their other best basic one-night film from 1983. Sydney is a little boring in it's direction where it looks like a pay-per-view show (which it was). But I love the audio mix on those three films.

Looking forward to Chorzow. The Vertigo show was great. Hoping for something not played yet or ever before.

I didn't ruin them all - I just pointed out some things about them; if anyone ruined them it was the guy behind the camera, plus did you see a bad mention of Popmart Mexico, Red Rocks, Joshua Tree Paris and ZooTV Sydney plus I don't see a mention of Elevation Boston either. Sometimes it's not the band that do the bad job - in fact, every single performance on those DVDs is something special - however, a director can certainly ruin the experience.
It sure as hell doesn't mean I don't like several performances on Vertigo Chicago or Slane Castle. I just picked up on common mistakes which anybody would surely see as dumb and slack. Even other DVDs and albums from other artists that I really enjoy happen to have crap parts to them which just make me wonder. Would you like me to name some?
Talk to other members and they'll have the same thoughts about the first two Vertigo DVDs as me.
