1. Teriffic hard to get song, brilliant live. Pure energy coming from Bono when he starts to sing. Love the band too, but I expected some more noise/distortion like the album version
  2. One of my favourites on the album for sure. I think it just elevates further live - for me, it's all about the drums. I know Bono talks about the bass part (Culture Show appearance), but after the first chorus when Larry just starts to rip at the kit, just blows me away.

I'm no expert, but I suspect this would be a harder song for him to sing than others...
  4. When they played it here in sweden NLOTH really sucked. I love NLOTH but i think it was the audience that made the song crap when they played it in Gothenburg. I dont now how the song sounded the second night i was there the first night
  5. No Line On The Horizon is one of my Top 3 songs on the new album. It just feels so passionate and emotional. I was unsure which version I liked better for a while, but I've finally decided on the album version. I would die for this to become a single and have a kick ass video.
  6. We need NLOTH 3 already

A mix of 1 and 2 would be perfect.

If they did what they did with COBL and released a live edit, I'd be all to in favour - I'm starting to prefer the album version with the wavey synth backing etc., I like NLOTH 2 with the alternative chords but it doesn't quite do it for me with regard to what the feel of the song should be for me.

  10. Yea but thats just the two songs overlaid over each other, with the mix in front changed for different sections.

We need a proper (or more professional) remix.
  11. Via shuffling my music I realized something - listen to Silver an Gold (specifically the version included on the B-Sides 1680-1990) - the beginning guitar strumming sounds A LOT like No Line on the Horizon - it's really uncanny. When it first started playing I was trying to figure out what version of NLOTH it was... it's eerie. Check it out.

But you're right, it's pretty much the same
