1. Geez, didnt know I was even funny without noticing it...you know, this is a great pump-up for my ego...

Where's your long-expected, 5 pages long review? *rolls eyes*
  2. Nice review, some ppl should post themselves in that section
However, seens I attended the first night their was alot of hoppla about Bono having harsh voice, indeed he had on few songs
Some ppl say it was because it was of cold weather and strong winds, indeed it was shitty cold weather more like an evenin in october or somethin
Im not gonna speculate in that too much, but it wasnt 100% for sure
Crowd respond was very very bad in some sections, I had sense of it being more a funeral than a rock concert tbh lol
Wich leads me to why ppl would buy tickets in first place if just to sit the entire show
Maybe some ppl love to do that, same thing with popcorn at rock concert in my eyes it doesent really go together none of it
And its contageious, I think the band could feel it as well sadly
Im slightly disappointed in that way it seemed to be few problems during the show as well with the video screen plus secret words being whispered into Bono´s ear
Maybe to shorten the show some? Who knows
This was my first show I attended with them
I kept waiting for big climax that never came, it felt very flat at times
It didnt happen really until they started to play older material
Seemed ppl didnt care too much over all about the NLOTH songs
It was an OK show but not one of the greater ones
My only regret is I didnt attend the second one, such difference
They had it all that night, great weather to start with
Next year I fly somewhere else , its bit like being robbed off the greater stuff
Over all it was great night for me personally but I would killed for some more excitement and energy

  3. Pretty stupid including "audience" in "performance", isn't it?

  4. All too true. The second show was really awesome though. I'm very critical to U2's live performances as some of you may have noticed , but it was without a single shred of doubt in my mind at least the second best performance of the tour (not taking into account the crowd and/or setlist/song structure such as snippets singing parts etc) – crowd was 4/5 and performance 10/10 overall. like 96/100 to be more precise. A song or two were like 9/10, but the rest, simply amazing. You wont be disappointed.

  5. Yep

    What was the best then?
  6. I am honestly not aware of a better one, but you've gotta have some margin. I don't want to claim it's the best unless it actually is.

  7. Yes, but the performance is still a different thing. True – It can be affected by the audience, but it's not the same thing.

  8. and how is it 'stupid' to meerly mention the crowd in the performance section?

  9. In Holland we would say: mierenneukerij..
The English would say: picky git

  10. Seeing as how there is an audience section for that kind of thing. Judging the performance itself based on the crowd is misleading.
