Yeah - you can have a 2.0 megapixel camera which a lot of people would call it outdated, but as long as you've got good light, a stable and strong hold when zooming in and not too much noise or gradience, then you should be right. Though a lot of light can actually go against you because it drowns out the subject.

We've got pictures here where they have five megapixels for the camera yet it's a horrible quality, because of the situation it was taken in.

I woulnd't take the tele at all. Way too big, umconfortable and not really useful if I can say that.

Will you eventually have a press autorization?

My father made about 120 or 140 and just 20 or 25 are decent, and only 8 or 10 are great. A shame. But he obviously didn't want to spend the whole cocnert adjusting ISO and colour and light balances, etc... He enjoyed the show a lot, and moreover got a few great pics

So...nobody is gonna do me anything if I bring a camera to the show with me, or do I just need to hide it at the entrance? My friend had some troubles taking a camera to Depeche Mode and The Cure concerts, dunno if it's the same with U2.

If you want some close-ups, it might be pretty usefull. I probably have accreditation for the 21st, when I have GA. I just bring it with me, the tele I have is not the best around but should be able to deliver some great pics. I'll see the results at the end though, wanna enjoy the concert and won't shoot for 2 hours

Point and shoot is allright (compact cameras), DSLR isn't..
