    I raised it a little
Which is great, great addition for the fan community. Memorable shows.
  3. First night:

I was in the first row, few meters away from The Edge. Fantastic.

    My position:

It was great. BUT. Edge fucked up Breathe solo. Ultraviolet almost fell apart for about 3 or 4 times, Edge out of sync, Bono whispering in microphone about something because his earpiece didn't work I guess. It's weird such things happen that much, I think that Edge should seriously talk with people who are responsible for his sound and guitars.

Fantastic set-list with "Unchained Melody". Wow. When did they do it last time before Zagreb?

Crowd was just ok, GA was fantastic, seats pretty quiet.

The Hours are not really good, but Snow Patrol was fantastic, just like in Milano I.

Interesting thing happened before The Hour appeared on stage...I look to the left side of the circle, and who do I see...yup, it was McGuiness, he walked in the crowd for about 3 minutes and then went back while giving autographs to the fans.

    Second night.

In queue since 12 o'clock with wish to end up in first rows outside of the ring. It's hot as hell, I'm with my girlfriend, her best friend, my friends and 20 beautiful people from u2acrobat.net.

    Queue:

My girlfriend. (remember video with her singing Electrical Storm?)

    Finally at our wished position:

    Again my girlfriend:

    The thing with baloons:

With few friends I surprisingly met after the concert, they were thanking me for being so persisting in forcing them to buy the tickets and coming to concert.

Band rehearsed ending of WOWY, Ultraviolet, beginning of UC and...well...I guess they did Your Blue Room. It was really weird, we all thought that it was playback, but listening to it carefully...vocals were sung by Bono in real time.

They also did interesting thing with BD by playing chorus right after that beautiful intro.

And I was lucky (and fast) enough to get in the 3rd row outside of the ring with my girlfriend in front of me. In front of her, in the first row there were few girls from Sarajevo with paper which said "BiH loves U2". (*BiH = Bosnia and Herzegovina). When Bono came in front of us during COBL he saw their sing and stopped singing right to us and sending us kisses. Surreal moment.

The Hours were better then on the first night, while Snow Patrol weren't as good as on the first night. Anyway, they have great future in front of them, I'm sure.

Before concert started crowd was doing waves for about 6-7 minutes, and that just blow my mind because I knew that this is going to be THE show with crowd like that. And I wasn't wrong.

There was just on little thing. That fuck came, and I just wanted to kick his fucking arse. 3 or 4 guys carried him and the crowd went mad, they started to take pictures of him, etc. It gets messy, we are pushed to the fence and I don't like it. So I shouted to him some noughty words.

    Here he is:

I mean, that guy probably came half an hour before the show and he was already in first rows. And naive people are taking photos of him and letting him go even closer to the first rows. And at the end of the concert he was in the second row. I looked at him from time to time, he didn't clap his hands even one time nor opened his mouth during whole concert, fucking idiot.

Show was perfect in any way from the first to the last song. Comparable to the Milano 1. from my perspective.

I cried during Beautiful Day (no, it's not a joke), during intro Bono sang that famous words of Croatian poet Ivan Gundulić - both in English and Croatian - the same words he sang in Modena after performance of Miss Sarajevo. It was so emotional for all of us. The whole setlist was great, crowd knew every word and for the first time I thought that "Stuck In A Moment" was brilliant song.

We even sang I Still Haven't Found by ourselves without Bono, brilliant.

And, yes WOWY was magical. But why did he sang Shine Like Stars? One of my friends you can see in the first photo under the "Second night" part here held "we'll shine like stars" sign in the first row right in front of her. And he fucking did it.

Two best days in my life. Or, better to say, best days of my life were: 07.07., 09.08. and 10.08.

  4. Great story, great photos, unforgettable experience. Can you upload your best HQ pictures to our photo section? If not, I will do it with the photos from here

About the dude who came in late and ended up first row, well, at every show there are one or two (or more) people like that. Too bad, but it happens. Best thing is to let it go and fade away
