1. In the end we're discussing rumours so nothing is certain yet. Let's see..

  2. A 2010 tour is certain, though. The question is - where?

I know, but after HTDAAB there were also lots of rumours that said there would be a new album in a year. And the same after ATYCLB. What struggles me is that those rumours never become reality. They never seem to pay it off good enough, make the sessions album worthy. They just need more time (these years).

Pretty relieved they never put another HTDAAB out... but these rumors about SOA are from U2 itself, Bono and now Larry's drumtech. I have faith, would love to hear a crazy little brother of NLOTH

  4. That's true. Well, just to add to the discussion: Bono and I believe some other source claimed they'd play Brussels next year. Same for 3 venues in Germany and one in Austria. And why would they skip Kopenhagen, Oslo, Lisbon? I think a European tour is almost a certainty and the rumour posted here about a possible 2010 summer leg is very likely to be true.

Same goes for that Australian spring leg, I can't see them skipping Australia and although they might stick to Melbourne, Sydney etc, they could continue the leg in Tokyo.

I somewhere read the tour would last for 2 years so another US-leg in fall 2010 could be possible too, ending in Honolulu again lol.

    My opinion though..

Agreed, also got the likes of Manchester, Madrid. Zurich and Rome to add to that list, even if they did manage to visit the country, some major cities have been left out of the 1st leg

Manchester would have been on this year if allowed but we're getting Sheffield instead

And in the States, Philly, Denver, Seattle, and all of the Midwest- minus Chicago.

  8. vs.

    hehe

Well, the Premiership starts on Saturday, I guess neither United nor City wanted to have their pitches damaged by any means.
  9. Sheffield is way cooler with this stage
  10. apparently the Manchester City wouldn't fly the new arab owners dont want rock concerts there anymore it ruined the pitch last time on vertigo even though it was covered...

  11. I prefer Sheffield. The Eastlands (citys ground) lost its entertainment license so cant host concerts
  12. A next sold out European leg is possible:

    Rome/Turin
    Madrid
    Marseille
    Stuttgart/Munchen
    Brussels
    Oslo
    Kopenhagen
    Wien
    Zurich
    Lisbon
    Athens
    Manchester
    Dublin
