1. Hey all, I'm not the man of personal topics but I want to make an exception for this.

Tonight at 8pm Dutch time, I'm going on a vocational work trip to Moldova together with 25 other youngsters. We will help the local citizens there in a town called Causeni, near the capital of Chisinau. There is a project going on and our task is to entertain the poor children there and to build and install stuff like toilets, cooking-stoves etc. Just to make life a bit more comfortable for these people over there.

We will travel by bus so it will be a 30-hour drive from Holland to Moldova (travelling through Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Moldova). I will be away for 2 weeks and I won't have internet there, so I just want to say goodbye. And to those heading to Wembley, Sheffield, Glasgow and Cardiff: enjoy the show!

    Cheers,
    Casper

aww you won't get to see Slovakia then

Do your best, man. Those people need it. Take care
  3. Enjoy your time Casper; sounds like a truely remarkable trip. I just got home from Mississippi doing a mission trip as well. I helped rebuild houses that were damaged after Hurricane Katrina. It was a 17 hour bus ride. Put on some good tunes, and the ridewill go by a lot faster. Have a good time and fill us about it when you get back.
  4. We need more people like you !

Casper, we definitely need more people like you! Excellent thing to do man, very proud to know one of us is doing that.

Enjoy your time and travel safe!!!!!!!!!!
  11. That's amazing, I'd love to do something like that as well. It's a great cause. Good luck and have fun!
  12. Just got back, seems I missed a lot of goodies here but I don't care. It was a truly great experience, will never forget it. I've seen a big contrast between poor and rich and the work there for 1.5 weeks with 25 other people is just awesome. Great group, great travel by bus (I went back through Slovakia, Juraj) and a lovely memory. Lots of fun, lots of emotions, lots of joy.

Most of us wanna go back, it's somehow hard to get back to 'normal life' again. Weird..
