  1. What is a Vine?

    A person decides they want to distribute one or more shows to users who do not have high speed internet connections or can't handle torrents for other reasons

    They post a thread announcing they want to start a vine for a particular show or several shows. Users add their name to a list and the person distributing the show sets up a numbered vine and begins mailing out the disc(s)s to the first person on the vine.
    The person receiving the disc copies the material to their hard drive or on blank discs and then mails the original discs out to the next person on the vine as quickly as possible. People are also required to contact the person preceding them to give them postal information once the vine is set in place by the distributor.
    People who do not send out the discs in a timely manner (usually within 72 hours) without a good reason may be banned from further vines by the original distributor.

    These shows one might get by a vine are never to be to be sold. If it is discovered that you have sold a show that people were kind enough to send out to you for free you will be banned from vines and I'll do my best to get your ass kicked on every U2 site out there.

    What do I need to take part?

    - A DVD burner.
    - Knowledge on how to copy a DVD to your harddrive or on a blank disc.
    - the will to ship the package to overseas countries if needed.
    - spare money for the postage to pass on the DVDs (depends on the country you live in and the destination... might take from 2 up to 10€ for ~10 DVDs).


    I'd be willing to start the first vine with a set of shows from different tours (I'm open for suggestions what shows should be included) if there's interest.

    So, anyone interested in being part of a vine?
  2. YES!!!! i cant download torrents or w.e. it takes me like 3 months -_- HAHa and i have high speed internet u know ive always wanted the DVD for the 2006 Buenos Aires show pro shot is it in like high definition and looks perfect on TV??

    Ive got that DVD. It aint in HD but it is brilliant quality. It took me fucking ages to download it aswell. But i have no problem sharing it with someone who will enjoy it as much as i did. So will we get the ball rolling here, do you want me to post it to you?

    Oh, with "set of different tours", you mean it's like 5 or 6 concerts in one single vine or using one concert/vine ?

  12. I'm open to it. I can't rip DVD's as I don't have Nero or anything like that but if it's legal CD's then count me in.
