    Thanks for going through the hassle of taping and sharing, Coggster. Much more than most people do. Any word on the equipment you used?
  2. i used Mic madness binaurals > sound professional battery box > HiMd


    ill record sheffield too, just in case the usual happens with radio broadcasts and they bury Bonos voice in the mix or cut out half of it !!

    I had a nightmare from a tapers point of view, surrounded by gangs of drunk people who pushed right in front of me right before showtime, some with their backs to the gig. I was getting pushed around all over the place for the first few songs until I got rid of them.

    On the plus side, I didnt sing!

    I was Adams side, about 30 meters from the outer walkway.

    Fantastic again mate, cheers and yeah I know what you mean about drunken people, I've got no problem with people getting lost in a gig but not at the expense of other people's enjoyment, even worse when you're trying to keep shtum and record for 2 and a bit hours. Fabulous effort on your part

    First thing I noticed at U2gigs: boys rehearsed Your Blue Room?
    Damn...that is cool...if they can bring that live I think our american friends will be lucky

  8. Neil McCormick mentioned on his Twitter feed that at the afterparty on the Saturday he was talking to Edge, Noel Gallagher and Page so yeah, makes sense

  11. Yep, the guy left of him is Metallica's drummer Lars Ulrich. Guess they didn't have the cash to buy seats.
