If anyone wishes to finance it I'll join you

  3. im hoping Edinburgh and Dublin are 2 of those cities for reasons of cost.

  4. Ahah, fair play - Edinburgh would be awesome but what would be the venue?

  5. not at all. Only massively enjoyed 2 of those shows (one of which was my first U2 gig). My fanboy days were long over before I headed to Barca. Great experience though

Which two would they be? I hazard to guess...

  7. Murrayfield. Nicer stadium and ncer city than Hampden

Barca 1 was great to be there so close and because it was my first U2 gig and all that. Didn't blow me away like it should have though but that may have been down to my seriously dehydrated, burned and starving physical condition though.

Barca 2 with the tweaked setlist, nice seats and a beer and Croke 1 were the 2 standouts.
  8. Wembley II and Sheffield - both fab different setlists. Really enjoyed both. Thx for the bootlegs have relived every moment (stuck in them!) Shame cant go to Cardiff but twice in a week isnt too bad
  9. Been to 43 shows first one February 1980 in Dublin latest one last night in Sheffield next one Chicago opening night of US tour....

Ah, agree about Murrayfield actually. I'd have murdered a beer at Wembley I but I didn't wanna lose my place near the Claw so I just slogged it out and was pretty lightheaded. Like I'e said enough times, thank god for those guys selling bottles outside. I got bottles inside Sheff. so that wasn't a problem. Wembley had that first gig emotion which you can't ignore, whilst Sheffield was probably even more epic - completely barmy when you think about the whole night and the venue etc., but being able to visibly see the stadium take off was something else. Streets was what I had always hoped it would be when I would finally get the chance to see it.

Almost the same except I was at Wembley I, not 2 - would have liked to have been at a show with an alternate set such as Wembley II but I'm not moaning, two of the best nights of my life with different highlights.
  11. Been to opening night and Sheffield. Got in the pit both times and although Sheffield was a better performance you can't beat the atmosphere of opening night and the beautiful city of Barcelona and the Nou Camp
  12. Sheffield, wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooww
