1. I agree re. PopMart vs. Vertigo, but I liked Elevation era Ones...but that's just me. There are some not particularly fabulous performances from the last tour but equally there are some good ones. I prefer Desmond's intro. to Bono's blurb re. the ONE campaign too

    Couldn't agree more.

  3. Yes, but I do think it would be nice if we saw more NLOTH-material later in the set. Open with four NLOTH-songs: Being Born, Breathe, Stand Up, Boots. And replace Pride with Magnificent later in the set and add NLOTH to the encore. That would be a welcomed boost.

I am torn on that idea. I love that foursome opening the show, but you are right. After Magnificent NLOTH is missing from most of the show. Add Being Born somewhere, and maybe SUC (although it is my least favorite song on the album.)

Ah, I see where you're going
After those 4 songs it more becomes a sort of greatest hits-concert, sort of...
That is very true, it would be more interesting if they spread the new songs more over the whole gig

  7. Well could this be the first album since Boy to have every song played live?

Would be great, but not likely.
  8. Hey, what can I say, I was at the first two dublin gigs, and they were amazing. So I feel kind of disrespectful criticising the set haha. I dont have many complaints anyways. Its just that when I heard Electrical Storm in Barcelona, I was thinking they were really gonna mix things up this tour. Im not saying its a poor set. But before the tour I was hoping for EBTTRT, Gone and even more from Pop etc etc. Im pretty sure theyll mix it up for America, including a new opener. I can see them opening in the states with Boots, they way they did it at the Brits, with Breathe being moved to encore opener. Also hoping for Stand Up Comedy and Fez as well.

  9. I always thought Cedars would be good for Larry to just drum at the end. Like no singing just like as an outro, you know how on vertigo he always drummed last? I think the drumming in Cedars (which is amazing) would be great.
  10. Random thought: Miracle Drug wouldn't be out of place at some point this tour.
  11. I agree with many of the comments above: U2 could have the courage to play more songs of the new album. Being born and SUC (the first is great, but I do love the second, too) are natural candidates. This would bring the total of new songs to 9 - a nice number. I should add I understand the boys want to play Walk On, and I respect that. But I think U2 have even nicer and more interesting songs to play.
