  2. A little more info would be cool. Like, what recording (there are 3 circulating online so far) did you work with, lossless/lossy, what tools did you use, did you just do some eq-ing or something more, etc.
  3. Sorry , I should have given this.
    I first of all used as the source the Lossy 4 star version (Taper unknown?) which was the first version posted here at U2Start.com

    I used Soundforge9 to increase the volume and add some bass and reduce treble and a few other adjustments to increase the overall sound. I then used Vegas8 to add video to the Audio track and there I used the EQ to again try and enhance but only very slightly.

    I then exported MP3's directly from Vegas8.

  5. Sounds too flat and there's way too much hiss for my taste. That might be due to the heavy compression on youtube or it might be present on the original recording (I don't know that one), though.
    I'd suggest working with lossless sources nevertheless.
    Your effort is appreciated anyway. So thanks for that.

    Indeed, it's a little improvement but not a lot. We'll wait with upgrading and if other sources show up we might add it. Though lossless was better. Thanks!
