1. Tell us about your experience at the shows - how the view was, the sound, fan interaction etc. I particularly want to know about the seating sections behind the stage as I got 3 tix for seats behind the stage and want my friends to have a great experience.

Embed some pics if you'd like that wud be awesome!
I hope this topic helps other people out also.
  2. behind the stage seems hit and miss. The band arent working that area as much as the could or should. The view is great from everywhere but the sound might not be
  3. My experience is that the seats behiond the stage are great, since you are the nearest to the stage a seat can ever get, while the stage is not centre of the venue. The fact is that the band isn't very much at the 'backside' of the stage. however once in a while Larry's drumkit makes the '360' turn so he faces the back seats.,
  4. View from anywhere in GA provided your more than 5 foot tall is exemplary. The pit is a bit hit and miss - very close-up but no real view of the video and if you're too near the stage and short you will struggle to see the band as the stage is at least 7 foot up.

Those rear seats were packed and the most active at the only show I've been too - Cardiff. Bono recognised this and was over there loads, playing the crowd. Gave them their own farewell too. Obviously Larry as was described. Edge went there a bit, but not Adam.

I think how much the band go there depends on how much that area wants them too.
  5. Seats behind the stage are awesome. You have a great view over the complete madness in GA.
Band doesnt play there too much, true, but it's still brilliant
  6. Has anyone here gotten to the very front of the stage? I don't mean somewhere in the ellipse, but right to the very first row near the stage? If so - how was the experience?

I'm definitely prepared for a long wait, was just debating whether trying for the front of the stage was worth it. I'm looking through some of the YouTube footage and it doesn't seem all that bad in terms of view. But that's on video, of course. How was the view of the stage? Did you have a stiff neck by the time the concert was over?

I was also about 3:d row, and the view over the stage was great (I'm 185 cm), but you miss the spectacular from the video screen ofcourse, but that's why I went to 2 shows, one in front and one in far back, both GA

Kudos for the input. Seems like the best way to go for two shows.
