1. In maybe an attempt to find some and share new music, how about about a song that is a favorite of yours that probably few would know due to lack of airplay/popularity.

    Mine:

Phoenix "If I Ever Feel Better" from United

  4. I love that song!

mine are a toss up between:

Stranger In This Town - Richie Sambora
A Kind Of Christmas Card - Morten Harket

  5. Oh, I've got a bunch of favorite songs I guess none of you have heard of.
    ... because they're all from swedish bands/singers
  6. I have a ton of favourite songs and musicians that no one knows, most likely because Portugal is a small country and not very known around the world. But we have a unique style of music, named Fado, which consists on a singer( most common a woman) and two guitarrist with acoustic guitars made in Portugal, called "guitarra portuguesa", they are in general unique musicians and the very best of natural guitar technique.

You may have heard about Amalia, Marisa, Teresa Salgueiro( Madredeus), Dulce Pontes, maybe Ana Moura( she sang with the Rolling Stones when they came here years ago.

Oh and Marisa was on Letterman, last year or so.

But I like bands the most, so my unknown artist is Clã, a portuguese pop rock band very known here, one of the best, they are very experimental and they have a unique singer, Manuela Azevedo.

Portugal is indeed a rich country!!!
  7. one of my long-time favorites is "Ana's Song" by Silverchair

  8. Beautiful Day....

    just kidding.

    Lotion by Greenskeepers.
  9. Dream Theater - Through Her Eyes

  10. wow, never heard that one before. Just listened to this live version on YouTube and it took me away -- so beautiful. And the guitarist is a madman.. in the best way possible
