  2. Little bump. I'm a big fan of snippets, so now that we're well into the tour, it would be interesting to hear some ideas.

    One thing I've been thinking about for quite some time now is Luminous Times during Moment of Surrender. At the end, when Bono starts the final "wohohos", he could let the audience do that and scream "hold on, hold on to love" over and over. That would seriously kill me. Another one would be singing a part of If God Will Send His Angels during the instrumental bridge. Would fit perfectly in my opinion.

    Elegantly Wasted (INXS) during Crazy Tonight would be a cool touch too.

    Radiohead's Everything in Its Right Place would be really cool in Bad. But I wonder if Bono's ever gonna do Radiohead snippets (besides those few times he shouted 'And I'm a Creep!' during Elevation on the Elevation Tour), he usually only snippets from bands older than U2 (i.e. Beatles, Rolling Stones.)

    Now that I think about it, Bad should have way more snippets to begin with. There are lots of U2 songs not played on this tour that could easily fit into Bad, like All I Want Is You, Running to Stand Still, The First Time, Miss Sarajevo, Please etc.

    I like that idea about Everything In It's Right Place

    I'd like the first chorus of Help! by The Beatles in the outro of The Fly
    Wonderwall by Oasis at the end of One (a la Unchained Melody on the ZooTV dvd)
    Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode in UTEOTW (would also fit the theme)
    Coldplay's Viva La Vida in Winter (lol )

    Just Imagine it, the last ohohohs in the song, and before going for the outro Bono launches into the chorus of WOWY. Not that great lyrically, but great musically

  10. I actually think something like Don't Look Back In Anger would fit so much better, e.g. after Edge's solo, Bono just goes into "sooooooo Sally can wait..."...
