  1. does anyone have any info about how far ahead of time you need to get there to be in line with a GA ticket to get a good spot?

    Last U2 concert I went to, I had a very tall guy in front of me and really blocked my view, dont want a repeat of that!

    I'm so excited about the concert, just don't know what to expect before the show starts to hope to get into the inner circle (last time did Not get into the elipse

    Any info would be greatly appreciated

  3. You really DON'T need to be inside the ellipse to get a good spot on this tour. If you're only attending one show, try to get a good and centered spot outside the inner circle, on the big circular catwalk. That's the best place to see this shows: you don't miss any of the lighting, you will ahve tons of interaction with the members (Bono and Adam most of the time) and you can take great pics from there! And the best part of it: to get that spot, you only have to queue for 2-4 hours (might be 6 or 1, depending on the show... but an average of 3 will assure you a great place )...

    I'm seeing the band in Tampa Bay and Dallas, I'm hoping to get a good spot in Tampa, then just relax in Dallas!!
    It will be interesting to see how the process will work for the these shows!
  5. I waited in line 11 hours before the doors opened to get the spot I wanted on the second night U2 were in Chicago. It was totally worth it. Nobody was in front of me, and the entire band stopped right in front of me on the catwalk at different times during the show. Truly amazing, and I was blessed to be at such a spectacular show.

    To hear both of my favorite U2 songs live ("Stay" and "Ultraviolet"), and then the added treat of being in the audience the first time they performed "Your Blue Room" made it all worthwhile.

    If you're going to wait in line a long time, make sure you contact the venue and ask them their rules and regulations. Some allow tents, for example, while others don't. It was so hot sitting in the sun the whole day, but some new friends let me lay underneath their tarp. U2 fans come together in times of hardship!
