  2. The first one sold out in 10-15 minutes, something absurd like that. I know ticket sales were slower for the 2nd one, and I don't think it's sold out yet.

    I'm pissed about the parking situation, too. Had planned on tailgating starting at 12. Also, what's the deal on the field? Are there seats? I'm on crutches...I broke my ankle between when I bought the tickets to now. I don't plan on that ruining the show for me though!
  3. i just went to ticketmater and pulled GA tix for sunday, and a pair in sec 130, row 7.... not too shabby.
    I already have tix but was just curious, i heard they are leaking tix prior to the show to offset the scalping.

    Stub Hub has 400+ tix for GA alone for each show. Not sure if unsold tix are even used?
  4. I believe it that first show sold out but you have to factor in that tickets were also bought up by Patriots season ticket holders who had intentions of reselling for profit. I feel like in the end (especially for monday night show) there are more tickets available than demand for them because of price. So if someone was on the fence about going they are probably finding some really cheap tickets available at this point. Both Stubhub and Craiglist has loads of tickets available. I have an extra ticket to each show and I'm practically begging to give them away at reduced price and sitll not finding buyers.

    I know many people who are going down as early as 5am.... I cant imagine the difficulty they will have.
    And if people create a numbering system to keep the order, what will happen when there are multiple groups merged or the staff at the venue messes things up.

    I'm really hoping this was more of a scare tactic to prevent the lines from forming too early. Are they really going to turn 300+ people away before 3pm? There's no way they can enforce it.
  6. On a happier note, the city is already getting geared up. Radio stations are playing rarities (I heard Staring at the Sun today), and all the Boston weather reports have revolved around the concerts. Minor things, but it's still builds the excitement.

    There were a lot of similar grumbles about this before Chicago. Security figured it out and everything (at least Chicago 2) went smoothly. I was impressed.

    Yep, my first show on Monday, I'm so excited, I've been waiting for this my entire life, and now IT'S FINALLY HERE! I'm leaving today, gonna hang out with some family and friends for a few days in southern Maine, then off to the show on Monday. SO EXCITED, CAN'T WAIT!

    I'll be in GA both nights. Gonna try for very back center of the inner pit along the rail for the first night, and the first row center of the outer rail for the second.
