  1. Personally, i think that Day & Age is a great, I love listening to it and I think it is a great peace of art. Sam's Town is also amazing, like a proper rock album, heavy tunes that all sound great. Hot Fuss is different but equally i special, which i love too.

    As for Good Night, Travel Well, I really think it is a brilliant haunting track that makes you stop and think, a great tune. Very spooky, class.

    Maybe I'll have to give it another chance. I do really like A Dustland Fairy Tale. I bought this CD the same day as Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak and I just took to that album so much faster so Day & Age was put on the back burner.
  3. I love The Killers. I saw them supporting Bono & the boys in Cardiff on the Vertigo Tour...wow, what a great night that was. I'd been listening to Hot Fuss for ages beforehand, and just felt that something was happening with this band. Quite strange how they kind of 'just appeared' in England with that first album, and took off straight away!! Then I saw them twice at the Sheffield Arena, and also at Nottingham Arena, all excellent shows.

  4. Saw them on Wednesday at the Hollywood bowl and they put on a great show. they even had the psychedelic furs open and play with them in the encores. the song was Pretty in Pink.
  5. The Killers are great! I'm going to see them with a friend on Tuesday night in Sacramento, California. Anyone else going?
  7. Do you know of any really kicking (really good sounding, only soundboard/broadcast/excellent audience) live recordings of the new tour?? And any with decent sing-alongs of the audience?

    Hey, you can try the T in the Park show from this past July? Its a TV broadcast and it even has video pro-shot.

    its at 192 kbps. so idk if you want higher but its a pretty good show. saw it on youtube.

  10. I saw them a few weeks ago in Boston and thought they were phenomenal. I have been getting into them for the past few years but the concert just sort of made my love affair with them complete.

    A few pages back there were The Killers Top 5, mine would be:

    1, Bling (I can never listen to it just once)
    2. Midnight Show (this is quite sexy - for a song about murder)
    3. Mr. Brightside (esp. the remix on "Sawdust". Who knew jealousy and infidelity could sound so pretty?)
    4. Read My Mind ("slipping on my faith until I fall" is brilliant)
    5. Sweet Talk (the opening riff is pure U2)

    I loved the Euro-pop of HF and the Americana of ST but think the combo of the two for "Day and Age" is just right. And I could listen to Brandon Flowers sing a cookbook and be a happy girl.

    When I found the YouTube video of him doing "In a Little While" w/ U2 I just about lost it.
