1. Steve's Facebook status: ''u2 suck'' So I guess he wasn't perfectly happy about the show...
  2. Off to the show in ten minutes.
  3. About to begin my trip down to the stadium.
I was shaking all through spanish class because of all the excitement in my body.
This is going to be interesting...

I know the feeling... May 10, 2005 my friend and I got a detention for singing the "Ooh! ooh!" of Elevation in my Math class....

@ car traffic complaints. That's what is gonna happen when 60,000 plus people exit a stadium at the same time. I'm sure it happens at football events there too....

Isn't there a train, or some form of public transport? The post-show in Sheffield, and especially Amsterdam, went quite smoothly, as far as I can remember. But there were trains and trams available.
  8. all stadiums should be lile Croke. Plonk the stadium in the city center and have no parking. Never a traffic jam in sight
  9. Oh, c'mon, are people really bothering about the traffic?
You just seen the show of your life, you had the time of your life and you let it ruin by a couple of hours in the car???
    Nuts

Above all, if one thinks about it before the gig even starts, one knows he/she will get in the traffic jam...
  10. No, it really was a nightmare. Check out Boston.com and read the comments posted on their U2 story. I left my house at 5:30 (I'm about 1 hour away from the stadium) and didn't get there until 8:30! Then, I sat in the parking lot not moving an inch for over an hour. When we finally started to move, it took another hour to actually leave the venue. Apparently, they had each individual car pay $40 as they were coming in, thus causing the traffic jam. When Bono sang "the traffic is stuck, and you're not moving anywhere," I couldn't help but smile, though

Yeah. And in Amsterdam it lasted us 5 hours for a trip which usually takes 1,5 hours. Did I bother? Nope.
