  2. Indeed. Why not a matrix from U2's show? Still don't get it. It could be the best bootleg of the tour, the show was great, and this Snow Patrol recording is outstanding in quality. Why not? Well I guess I should have recorded the IEM by myself then

    it surely does exist. Both tapers collaborated for this Snow Patrol recording so they obviously mixed the same 2 sources for the U2 show.

    Unless the IEM taper is just a massive Snow Patrol fan.

    Great recording. Just further proves that matrixes only really work when mixing SBD/IEM with audience. Very rarely do aud/aud matrixes work.

    There's a 1 000 reasons not to share something one has taped. My personal opinion on taping is as follows: If I tape something, it's for 2 purely selfish reasons. I do it because I want to have a recording of the gig. I do it because I want to have some material worth trading for other shows I want.
    I can't see any reason why I should instantely give out something I invested time, money and work into for free to the community of tapers and non tapers.

    Others feel different and share what they have taped with everyone. That's fine, too. But those who don't have their reasons.

    I completely understand. I was not asking nor bitching about it, I was just surprised by the fact that the support act has trascended, and the main act has not; it's pretty strange if you think that the effort and money spent on both recordings was the same, wasn't it? Same taper, same location, same job. It was just surprise, not complain. Thanks anyway

    its a tease. Revealing the quality of the recording without actually sharing any samples etc
  12. this has got to be the best recording I have ever heard. Hopefully wel get the U2 recording some day.
