1. I really don't get WHY they are doing only one encore, really...

  2. Certainly was in Cardiff. They were off stage for over 3 minutes. (That was One/Bad of course...)

That is very true indeed, mostly ATYCLB-stuff as well...
Quite logical tough: Vertigo, Elevation and COBL are recent hits, the people who go to the show know these tunes. Older hits, like Gloria, Two Hearts Beat As One, The Fly, The Real Thing, Please, Staring At The Sun, etc etc are definitely less-known for the big audience

Sure! I guess I wasn´t clear either huahua.....
Oh I have to say this....it is really sad these are not played anymore.....

Now, I´ll make another setlist huahuahua...Just love to!

It is damn sad indeed... *thinks of good old days when Dirty Day was a "regular" one*

And we all love to make the perfect show in our heads

  5. it still somewhat of an encore. think on other tours with the whole ZOO TV baby on Vertigo, anti guns video of Elevation, Lemon Mix on PopMart, 360 has Desmond Tutu. LOL. even tho they should do more songs after that.

  6. All ten shows? I wish that one would come back.
  7. well, we might get some surprises soon...today in NY Mofo has been soundchecked (it´s on U2 gigs and I am about to shit my pants of happiness).... and EBBTR, IGWSHA and Drowning Man were soundchecked a while ago..who knows???.
  8. I was thinking, and I got to the conclusion that for a stadium tour this size, this tour is getting a fair amount of variation... and if you read popmart and zootv reviews from that time, some people, they´ll say that the show is too "synched" or stuff like that, just like now...maybe it is a disadvantage of stadium tours...that´s why i like indoor tours...more intimate feeling, more organized and adequate arena, great sound and more variations due to simpler stages and more shows...like elevation and vertigo.... i remember hearing who´s gonna ride your wild horses, bad - the first time and fast cars in chicago...i was surprised by three songs in the same night....and another thought i had is, u2 is had 30 years of success....how to squeeze all those hits and true fan favorites in 23 song stadium sets without it being greatest hits setlist??? very tough....and to think that true fans like the "worn out songs"..they are just tired...but the casual fan wants to hear those....they will play what can pleases most people......but this is a great tour and they´re slowly bringing some treaats ( ES, YBR, TUF, UV and soon, hopefully, mooofffffoooo)

The anti guns video of ETour is clearly not an encore, for me it's like the Desmond Tutu vid of this tour...
