1. Hello, here I leave a video of U2 that is, in my opinion, a special charm.

This is the free concert they gave on 11 November 1987 in San Francisco and received the name of "Save The Yuppies".

How would "LikeASong" it would be "A pseudo-official recording of the SF show".

Obviously it is not and has no official product quality, for example, extract the DVD Rattle 'n Hum with the track "All along the watch tower".

As we might say that has (3 of about 5) video and (2,5 of about 5) audio but it's debatable.

Weighs approximately 1 Giga and is prepared in a VIDEO TS folder to be burned directly in a DVD5.

    Tracks:

    01 - All along the watchtower (5:24)
    02 - Sunday bloody sunday (7:05)
    03 - Out of control (4:32)
    04 - People get ready (3:31)
    05 - Trip through your wires (4:38)
    06 - Silver and gold (7:52)
    07 - Helter skelter (3:21)
    08 - Help! (1:00)
09 - Pride (7:21) Yes, Pride is completed (with Rock ´n Stop The Traffic)!!!

    Total Running 43:03.

Do not know what future generations will say but for the time of Joshua Tree is an essential visual record.

So please, before you move this topic, be left in this forum main available to as many people as possible.

    Enjoy U2!
  2. many thanks
  3. 1 GB for a ready to burn DVD structure? Video must have rather low bitrate then.
    Any lineage info or screenshots?
  4. That cover says nothing about the image quality. Judging by the 3 little screenshots on there, this looks like a downgraded/re-encoded/higher gen sourced version of the CNN guy's shot.

I might reupload the 1st gen version some day if there's interest.
  5. Certainly I think that your files have far more quality than I have just uploaded.
  6. I take back everything I said.
Just checked with my own copy of the 1st gen source. That one is 1, x GB and has 18 minutes of ZooTV bonus included. So if someone edited out these 18 minutes, 1 GB would be the accurate filesize, I guess.
So this might as well be the same source I posted before.
  7. This needs to be watched every now and then.

Rock N Roll stops the traffic.

These 50 minutes are enough to keep faith in this band forever.

  8. Except for the awkward "SF-U2" bit
"err... Bono... we're at San Francisco... you know... 'S. F.', c'mon dude..."
  9. THAT BONO'S VOCALS. For God's sake. Best vocal state ever.
  10. And even that mistake makes up for a great anti IRA speech.

(the guy holding the sign should have been freaking out tho)
  11. This was the second bootleg I ever heard. They broadcasted it in here on the radio right after the New Year's Day concert (Point Depot). I listened to both shows on a daily basis and for several years those were the only 2 shows I listened.
