That being said, the second song really is up in the air; maybe it will be an old classic. I usually find that the musical guest performs their current single and maybe their next one, or the one previous to the current one.

They could not only play the current single, but announce what the next one is to be. That way they can get a reaction and people might actually hear it.

Crazy Tonight / Magnificent / Breathe / Vertigo - Beautiful Day - Elevation - City of Blinding Lights

New York City? City of Blinding Lights is an even bigger possibility. But then so is New York.

Do you think there will be another single?

  3. That singles box U2.com was doing in that competition has room for four singles. So that's why I say there has to be four.

Going by how poorly they've done, I actually wonder if there might even be another one...
  4. I'm thinkin Stand Up and Crazy Tonight

    ...but I'm hopin for Mofo
  5. U2 playing Mofo on SNL? You guys are funny...
  6. My money...make that my hope is a blowout performance for the SNL ages of the remix version of I'll Go Crazy...!! Imagine that version inside an 'intimate' venue like the SNL studio. I can easily picture Larry on the congos and Edge jumping up and down all while Bono takes to the stairs and demands the crowd's participation!!

    Brilliant!

    pat
  7. definitely Magnificent
  8. I'd vote for Like A Song, Acrobat and The Playboy Mansion...

  9. So it seems

On a more serious note: Of course Crazy Tonight, its the single of the moment. Magnificent is presumably the 2nd NLOTH (and presumably a short version). If they'll play a 3th song it will be either Vertigo or Beautiful Day...
